Find a Support System.
Having a support system can be the key for you. If you don’t have other family members who are also involved in your senior’s life and decisions, then it can help to lean on friends. Another idea is to find a support group made up of caregivers just like yourself. These are people who can help you to navigate these difficult waters and get through them.
It’s not easy to be the caregiver and to make some of those hard decisions. But it’s part of doing the best that you can for your aging family member.
